By completing our intermediate qualifications, you have acquired a detailed understanding of the cybersecurity implications in all of the most common project scenarios and you have learned that cybersecurity is not a distinct discipline that can be practised in isolation but rather it is an essential feature of everything that we do in the modern, technology enabled enterprise. As such it requires that programmes take a holistic approach to ensure that the changes that we make to an organisation’s operating model are carried out securely.

This course is designed for senior business analysts with significant experience of delivering change who contribute to the high-level planning that goes into developing new target operating models and transformations with wide ranging impact on the organisations involved.  You will learn how to integrate all of the themes that we have covered so far to perform the strategic role of supervising the requirements elicitation process of a major programme and advocate for the delivery of change in an efficient and robust manner. 

Objectives:

After the course you will be able to:

• Engage with senior stakeholders across all branches of information security, change delivery and the business to analyse and identify solutions to complex issues relating to the security of your organisation.

• Contribute towards the development of new operating models that allow you to introduce new capabilities while also supporting the strategic objectives of improving the security and resilience of your organisation.

• Carry out cyber-risk assessments on projects to identify any areas of significant concern at an early stage of the delivery lifecycle.

• Identify opportunities to steadily reduce security debt within your organisation.

Prerequisites:

You must have completed all five intermediate level courses before you can register for this course.
