This course is designed for business analysts with some experience of delivering change and is intended to provide a background into the strategic drivers of organisational risk management.  This will explore the common regulatory requirements faced by organisations and will cover the role of activities such as disaster recovery, business continuity and incident response planning and auditing as a part of satisfying the organisation’s need for sound governance, risk management and compliance capability.

Objectives:

After the course you will be able to:

  • Explain the importance of the concepts of Governance, Risk Management and Compliance to an organisation’s security.

  • Explain the difference between due-diligence and due-care and why these principles matter.

  • Understand how common regulatory frameworks create requirements for an organisation.

  • Understand the principles of organisational risk management.
